I've Made That! #3

Time has gotten the best of me, and I have not found the time to sit down and type a post until now. It’s a weird time in the world right now. I think this has brought somethings into light, such as how precious time with loved ones is or how we need to come together as the human race.

Anyways, couple weeks back, I made chicken tortilla soup! I’m a person who does not like soup…most of the time. Soup is too hot and too bland for my liking. However, chicken tortilla soup has taken my full attention lately. It can be more than the standard soups!

I recently have been using the Tasty app for everything! It is a great app to have if you are beginning to cook, like me! I searched for chicken tortilla soup and followed it loosely. Chicken tortilla soup is not a soup that you can destroy; it can be a great recipe to tweak to your taste-buds and preferences.

The recipe is helpful to cook in a large batch and freeze for use in a pinch. I recommend adding cheese in the bottom of the bowl before heating! This will make it tasty when you scoop with your spoon. Additionally, I recommend adding chopped avocado on top immediately before serving.

Verdict: 9.5/10 Great for making it your own and to your taste! If you don’t like tomatoes, don’t add many. If you freeze the leftover soup, make sure to portion it out, so you don’t have to chisel off pieces of frozen soup. Also, allow it to thaw in the fridge overnight.
