I’ve Made That #4

This Easter weekend bought some snow to Wyoming! It is hard to imagine that it is almost summer, or in Wyoming’s case, spring. The cold weather inspired me to make warm chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies not only warm up your insides, they warm up your soul.

I used Tasty’s Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe for the cookies. They turned out great! They were warm, crunchy on the bottom and soft on the inside. There’s nothing like making cookies to take your mind off of the world. Baking, for me, is a way to relieve stress from the news and work. The way ingredients come together, and the progress of it from beginning to end is soothing to me.

The recipe is super simple and fool-proof. It is a great starter to add in nuts or sprinkles. Let your imagination run wild! This recipe makes a lot, and that will allow you to make different kinds of loaded chocolate chip cookies.

Verdict: 9.5/10 The perfect cookie recipe that allows add-in chips, pretzels, and/or sprinkles to elevate the taste. I added flaky sea salt to the top of mine and used milk chocolate chips mixed with semi-sweet. Salty snacks are my favorite, but chocolate chip cookies are my sweet weakness.

Happy Baking!

xx Danielle.
