The Next Big Thing

When I first started my blog, I thought I would write essays and my life. Then I thought I would make this a food blog. Now I want to do both.

My life has changed dramatically from the last blog post to this one. I began a relationship in 2020 (you know, *that* year when no one was meeting anyone in person), changed my career, moved, lived with my parents for almost a month, got a raise, and then a promotion. All in the span of two years.

Amidst all of that, I still love to cook, bake, and write essays. The only cooking classes I took were in middle school where we learned to keep a cup of water in the microwave just in case it randomly turns on. (If your microwave randomly starts I would call an electrician and maybe a priest). I learn through recipes, cooking shows, and just winging it sometimes.

In school, I hated writing essays. I had the hardest time convying what I wanted to say. I think wrtiting for fun is actually fun. There’s no pressure, the prompts are selected and not manditory.

So, I’m happy to be back and, as a warning, I have nothing planned.
