June and July were so busy! I am currently in the middle of an exciting move that is not following the timetable I had in mind. But it will be so worth it! Without further ado, the following is a list of things I valued in June and July.
One. Clockwork rain showers. You know, the week where it rains every day starting at the same time. It is predictable and cools everything down. Absolute bliss.
Two. Helpful Customer Service. Throughout the move, I have had to call every company under the sun to get the service switched to my new address, and every place has the most helpful customer service representative. I see you, and I appreciate you!
Three. Live music. I haven’t been to a concert in so long. I forgot how great the bass feels when it rattles everything and hits your chest. The feeling of being in a large crowd singing and no one cares if you are not in tune because no one else is.
Four. Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce. I have a confession: I am not a fan of BBQ anything, especially BBQ sauce. However, this is the exception. I hope Trader Joe’s never stops producing it. I love to slap it on some chicken drumsticks and then bake them. Hardly any additional seasoning is needed! Give it a try sometime.
One Non-Valued in June or July: Packing.
