May ’24 List of Loves

My month of May dragged on. I don’t think having five Wednesdays, five Thursdays, and five Fridays helped. Also, what is up with payday being after Memorial Day? Anyway, below is a short list of things I loved in May.

One. Spending time outside. My place has a tiny outside area. Luckily, there is space for one outside chair and one side table. Lately, I have been having my quiet time/breakfast in the morning on the weekends. I look forward to sitting outside every Saturday morning.

Two. Fresh flowers. Spring has sprung in Wyoming, and most of my neighbors’ flowers bloom into beautiful displays. Since I do not have a garden, I buy flowers from Trader Joe’s or King Soopers. I realize they are mass-produced, however, there is something nice about a vase of flowers on the kitchen table for display.

Three. Vital Farm eggs. This is truly an “if you know, you know” situation. I have consistently had eggs for breakfast for weeks with Vital Farm eggs. They do not give me the ” egg ick” nor do I have to drown them in hot sauce or salsa. The yolks are so orange and fluff up well for scrambled eggs. The only downfall is that they are pricy!

Lesson Learned: Listen to your body all the time. It takes so much practice, however, you learn a lot about yourself.

What did you love in May?
