Just like June, my July was packed full of adventures. I traveled to the East Coast, saw amazing fireworks, and found “favorites”. Below is a short list of the new favorites.
One. Pictures of Grocery Hauls. I love creating a menu that may include a new recipe or a spin on a classic. Then, I scour the King Soopers app for deals on food that I know I will enjoy or need to restock. When I get home, I lay everything out face up on my table and try to get it in one shot. This past week’s haul turned out beautiful! It encourages me to eat what I bought and try new things. Here are a couple of my grocery hauls from this month.

Two. The Thursday Murder Club series. I finished the first book, The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, and sprinted to the bookstore to buy the second book. His writing is so well done, and enjoyable. The cast of characters really makes the book fly by. There are no lulls! I am listening to the first book’s audiobook since I cannot get enough.
Well, unfortunately, July’s favorite list is a short one. However, these two things brought me immense unsuspecting joy.
What brought you unexpected joy in July?
