Loved in August, September & October ’23

I have traveled so much in the last quarter of 2023, and the quarter just started! I have been to multiple parts of Wyoming, Colorado, and recently, Nevada. My suitcases are getting utilized!

Anyway, below is a short list of items, ideas, and events I have loved in the last three months.

One. Empty middle seats on the airplane. Need I say more? Is there anything better than hearing the gate attendant say there are 35 open seats, and one ends up in your half-row?

Two. Coworkers who are inclusive. The majority of my recent traveling has been with coworkers. And I appreciate how they were so welcoming and fun to be around. Everyone looked after each other, and every meal was a hoot.

Three. The app Freeform. Not affiliated with the TV channel. It is a blank canvas that never ends. It isn’t like Excel, and it isn’t like Word. It is a whole other ballpark. I use it to make a lookbook of what I want my wardrobe to be, another of what clothes I currently own, and I use it to plan outfits to wear on vacation. Obviously, there are other uses than clothing lists.

Four. Trader Joe’s Honeycrisp Apple Scented Candle. I’m noticing a pattern where I list something from Trader Joe’s in the fourth spot. This candle smells only like apples, and it is the perfect size. The candle is the first Trader Joe’s candle I have purchased, and now I want to take a mini road trip to check out the others!

Five. Agatha Christie books. I mean, I have only read one, but I am seriously considering buying and reading all. I love how Christie gets right to the point! I do not love when authors (of any genre) use so many similies and metaphors.

One non-loved in August, September, October: Anxiety.
